Same Time, Next Year
a comedy by Bernard Slade

Winner 1975 Drama Desk Award, Outstanding New American Play. Nominee 1975 Tony Award for Best Play

One of the most popular romantic comedies of the century, Same Time, Next Year ran four years on Broadway. It remains one of the world's most widely produced plays. The plot follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers.

"Delicious wit, compassion, a sense of humor and a feel for nostalgia" - New York Times

The Love List
a comedy by Norm Foster

In this side-splitting and thought-provoking new comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman - the top ten best qualities in a mate. When this allegedly "Ideal Woman" actually arrives on the scene the men quickly learn that their list could use a few revisions. Be careful what you wish for - especially in choosing a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in Foster's sparkling new comic hit.

The Home Team

By Kim Carney

Directed by Guest Director Dr. R. L. Smith

Set in a lower middle class household in Lansing, Michigan, we meet mom, Neva Gurley, and her three grown children who, in spite of their late 20's and early 30's ages, are as fanatical in their support of the MSU Spartan football team as anyone on the planet! Johnny, 33, a former Spartan player is screaming and cheering from the living room as he watches a video of a game from the previous season, while brother Duke, 27, and Marion, 29, act like untamed teen-agers while waiting to watch today's game. But they're also eager to meet brother Wayne's latest flame whom he's bringing from Ann Arbor, the hated home of the despicable Wolverines! When Wayne shows up with Erin in her "Michigan" sweatshirt, the Spartan's game soon takes second place to the siblings' curiosity about Wayne's new girlfriend. Indeed, Erin turns out to be a perfect exception to the adage "what you see is what you get.!" Adult language

Giving Up The Ghosts

By Arnold Johnson and Deborah Ann Percy

World Premiere Production

On Halloween night, 1974, Ralph, diffident scion of a wealthy Chicago family with a troubled past, receives a visit at his Lakeshore Drive condo from his impetuous sister Babs. Fuming over her husband’s infidelity, Babs finds Ralph brooding over a recent visit from their malevolent father. After an evening of too much champagne, Babs and Ralph “awaken” to find that they have died—apparently from carbon monoxide poisoning. In a sequence of brief scenes they gradually discover that they are fated to haunt the condo indefinitely, materializing only on Halloween of each year; their responses give the condo a forbidding reputation. Finally, after some twenty years (and one act), the key to their release from purgatorial bondage appears when the latest of the condo’s owners—Margaret and William—arrive from the suburbs struggling with an unhappy mystery of their own. In a sequence of events that is funny and chilling by turns, the troubled spirits and the flesh-and-blood couple improbably unite their efforts to help free each other from the dark secrets of the past and some unexpected horrors of the present.
