February 15 through March 15
"Almost, Maine"
A delightful & touching Comedy by John Cariani

On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways.

March 28 Through April 26
"The Dining Room"
A Comedy/Drama by A.R. Gurney

A brilliantly conceived and richly humorous theatrical tour de force (and Off-Broadway success) in which six performers portray a wide array of diverse characters as they delineate the dying lifestyle of wealthy WASPdom, and the now neglected room which was once a vital center of family life.

May 9 Through  June 14
One of The New Vic’s all time most successful original Musical Revues.
“Once Upon A Time”
A Musical Odyssey
Returning to The New Vic stage by popular demand.

It’s been 17 years since the New Vic introduced Kalamazoo theatre audiences to this original revue which highlights a musical trend that took the nation by storm during the late 1950’s and most of the 1960’s.  In “Once Upon A Time” the theatre pays homage to the popular folk music movement and the performers who brought it all to life. It’s time once again “...to bring a slice of musical history to a generation too young to remember and to some still too young to forget...” Kalamazoo Gazette.

Early reservations encouraged.  No kidding.

June 27 through July 26
"Up The English"
A Comedy by Dudley Moore/Alan Bennett/
Jonathan Miller/Peter Cook & The Pythons

If you’re a fan of that wild, crazy and irreverent comedy of “The Pythons” and their predecessors the “Beyond The Fringe” gang headed up by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, then “Up The English” should be just your cup of tea. Also featuring some of the satirical music of “Flanders and Swann” this comedy revue will provide a perfect summer evening of fun and laughter.

August 8 through September 27
The second installment of The New Vic’s original “Musical Odyssey”
“Twice Upon A Time”
The Odyssey Continues

The second installment of The New Vic’s “Once Upon A Time” odyssey continues to salute the popular folk music movement & its performers. “...In a small way The New Vic Theatre transports listeners to those night clubs of the past, allowing the audience to “be there” for all the beauty and excitement that was the “Folk Revolution”___Katherine Doud, Kalamazoo Gazette.
Early reservations suggested.  Really.

October 10 through November 8
"Murderers"
A Comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher

There’s no point wondering whodunit...Jeffrey Hatcher’s new play tells us that right off the bat. The fun is finding out how they dun it and why. “MURDERERS is a delight ... a very funny comedy with some biting satire and terrific storytelling.” “Murderers is an elegant comedy as compelling to watch as it is to hear”. An Autumn Delight.

November 20 Through December 28

The New Vic's 29th Annual Production Of Ted Kistler's critically acclaimed adaptation of Charles Dickens' immortal

"A Christmas Carol"
